Thank you for asking about my family in Puerto Rico. My family is fine. We’ve been in touch on a daily basis. They have felt the stronger quakes but have not had any damage. They are in San Juan. Many people, particularly in the southwestern part of the island have not been so fortunate. My family has asked us to pray for them as this situation is solely in God’s hands.
In the meantime, if you are seeking to help those affected, my family and I strongly suggest donating to the American Red Cross (click here to access the Mail-In Donation Form). Sadly, you cannot just give to any agency, church, etc., as there is a lot of corruption and greed on the island. I especially trust the American Red Cross too as they helped my family when Hurricane Maria hit the island two years ago. They not only located my family but provided necessary items and even lent charged cell phones in order to communicate with loved ones who were searching for them.
Here’s the latest as to the Red Cross’ actions in Puerto Rico:
God bless Puerto Rico and every one of you!
Originally created from the words Web + Log, a blog is an online journal or informational website or webpage containing one person’s ideas, thoughts, reflections, experiences, and more. A blog includes comments, sometimes hyperlinks, photographs, and/or videos provided by the blogger. Information is displayed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent appearing at the very top of the list.
Bloggers are people who own and create blogs. They are open to sharing information on just one area (for example, food, yoga, infected toe, etc.) or various areas (more general). In addition, bloggers encourage readers to express their opinions on their blog posts with a comments section. This gives readers the opportunity to add their thoughts, share in conversation, or just provide feedback about the blog post.
Blogging is the act involved of writing a blog. This entails many skills such as formatting/structuring the blog page, writing content, using the writing process, hyperlinking, adding photos, and monitoring and replying to comments. It involves consistency and commitment. It’s a great way to connect with other people. Blogs are for everyone!
So, what do you think? Would you like to have a blog of your own? Everyone has a story to tell. What kinds of things would you blog about?
