Recently, my good friend Kathleen asked, "Do you like watermelon?". "Heck yeah. I love it!", I responded. She proceeded to share how it makes the most delicious juice and to "Throw some into a blender and a tad of Stevia (or none at all)". "How about ice? Do you add that", I asked. "Just a few cubes", she replied. I gave it a shot and found it not only absolutely easy to make, but abundantly hydrating and packed with Citrulline, an amino acid that's converted to arginine, which relaxes blood vessels, thus improving blood flow. In addition, because it has no dairy it's an excellent choice for people with asthma or any other type of milk allergy.
